MANUAL
How it works
- Build. You launch a pump.fun coin through City Pad. It takes the next free plot of the map: plot n sits in district n / 9, position n % 9. Plots are handed out in order, nobody picks or skips one.
- A tent. Every coin opens as a tent. The pad's program is the pump.fun creator of the coin, so the creator fee lands with the program, not with a wallet.
- It grows. Anyone may survey a building (the keeper does it all the time). The survey reads the SOL the curve held at the median of the last three price readings: 10 SOL makes a house, 40 SOL a tower, a migrated coin is a skyscraper for good.
- It pays land tax. Each creator fee is split by fixed constants: 40% dev, 25% land tax, 25% burn of the coin itself, 10% treasury.
- Neighbours help. Each tower or skyscraper in the same district cuts the land tax by 5 points, at most 20. The cut goes to the coin's own burn.
The fee, to the lamport
pump.fun's creator rate is dynamic (0.95% falling to 0.05% as the cap grows). The program splits what actually arrived, measured around every transfer.
| Share | Goes to | How |
|---|---|---|
| 40% | the dev | held on the coin's account, claim_dev pays only the dev's wallet; anyone may push it |
| 25% - cut | land tax -> $CITY | booked in the pad bucket; buys $CITY and burns every token |
| 25% + cut | burn of the coin | guarded buyback of the coin itself, every token burned |
| 10% | treasury | held on the Config until claim_treasury |
Until the $CITY mint is set, the land tax accumulates in the bucket and is spent on $CITY once it exists. No other money path exists: no admin withdrawal, no fee switch.
Tiers
| Building | SOL in the curve |
|---|---|
| tent | below 10 |
| house | 10 or more |
| tower | 40 or more |
| skyscraper | curve complete / migrated (permanent) |
A survey needs a fresh reading (the newest no older than 4 reading gaps) and takes the median of the newest three, so a single flash buy cannot build a tower. Readings revised within their window keep whichever price is closer to the median before them; the keeper re-reads at once any reading that sits more than 2% off the live price.
Neighbours
The cut counts the other plots of the same district that are a skyscraper, or a tower surveyed within 6 h. Your own building never counts. 5 points each, at most 20: the land tax goes from 25% down to 5%. The saved points never reach the dev; they burn the coin itself.
Parameters
Live from the program's Config. The admin can propose new values; they apply after a 24 h timelock and only to coins launched later. Every coin keeps a copy of the values it launched with.
| launch fee | 0.02 SOL |
| house from | 10 SOL |
| tower from | 40 SOL |
| neighbour cut | 5 pts each, max 20 |
| tower counts for | 6 h after its survey |
| buyback | from 0.01 SOL owed, every 300 s at most |
| $CITY burn | every 600 s at most |
| dev buy | at most 2 SOL and 10% of the supply |
Trust points
- The program is the pump.fun creator of every coin. Fees can only leave by the four paths above.
- Every crank is permissionless: observe, survey, collect, buyback, claims. A stopped keeper only delays; nothing gets stuck.
- The admin can pause new launches (never fees, burns or claims), change parameters for future coins after 24 h, hand over roles after 3 days, and set the $CITY mint once after 24 h. The admin never moves booked SOL.
- Buybacks are guarded: they need fresh price readings, buy with a minimum out set from the median price and 3% slippage, take at most 0.5% of the curve (0.25% of a pool) per buy, one per slot, alone in the transaction.
- Audited before launch: no critical or high findings; the medium and low ones are fixed and covered by tests.
